Stealin' Apples

Every autumn the cattle find the fallen apples under the old trees, and they make short work of them.

There are several apple trees scattered through the pastures, and about this time every year the apples start to fall.

Once the cattle discover the treats waiting for them on the ground, they clean them up in a hurry — hundreds of apples in a few days, heads down under the big tree at the edge of the paddock. Waste not, want not.

There is still time to get an order in for delivery this fall, apple-fed and all.
