Before you reserve
Will it fit in my freezer?Open
A side is about 8 cubic feet of freezer (a 10 cubic foot chest is comfortable), about 277 lb packed. A quarter is about 4 cubic feet, about 139 lb packed. 50 lb bulk ground is about 1.5 to 2 cubic feet.
How do quarters work?Open
We pair two quarter orders, process one side, split it, and deliver to each customer separately. You do not need to find someone to share with.
What if the animal hangs light?Open
Your price is fixed when you confirm. If hanging weight runs under typical, we credit the difference. The price never goes up.
Where do you deliver?Open
Sides and quarters are delivered by us across New England, eastern New York, Long Island, and northern New Jersey, or picked up at the farm in Benson. Delivery is included in the price. 50 lb bulk ground also ships frozen by UPS Ground with shipping included, or farm pickup.
