Sides are $7.35 per pound of hanging weight, priced on the typical animal, so your bill is a fixed $2,910, known before you order, with cutting, packaging, and delivery included. If your animal runs under the average, we credit the difference.

Compare like for like

Roughly $10.50 per pound buys you every cut on the animal, New York strips, rib roasts, brisket, and stew meat included, alongside the ground beef. Priced separately at typical Vermont grass-fed retail, the same freezer runs $4,300 or more, you keep about $1,400.

Two variables

Your cut sheet drives yield. Bone-in cuts keep more weight in your freezer; a fully boneless order can lose up to 30%.
Animal size varies, that is what the credit-back promise is for. Your price never rises with a bigger animal, and a meaningfully smaller one earns a credit.

A quarter follows the same arithmetic: $7.55 per pound of hanging weight, fixed at $1,494 on the typical 198 lb quarter. We pair two quarter orders, process one side, split it, and deliver to each customer separately.

What is included

Slaughter, a minimum seven-day hang, cutting to your sheet, vacuum packaging, flash freezing, labeling, and delivery on sides and quarters across our footprint.

What is not

Sides and quarters are delivered by us across New England, eastern New York, Long Island, and northern New Jersey, or picked up at the farm in Benson. Delivery is included in the price. Nothing is ever added to your bill without confirmation.

How you pay

No deposit. Your price is fixed when you confirm ($2,910 side, $1,494 quarter on the typical animal). If hanging weight comes in under typical, we credit the difference. When your order is cut, packed, and ready, we email a secure Square payment link. Pay by card or ACH bank transfer; payment is due when it ships or is picked up. We do not accept cash or checks.
