2015 Grass Fed Beef Update

Finally as of mid-April, it looks like winter is giving up! Grass will be late again this year as I am starting to gather the 2015 herd. Pricing and order details should be posted during the first week of May for 2015 orders and calls are welcome anytime. I look forward to connecting with everyone again this year. We may end up with fewer animals this year as live animal prices have jumped once again. It will be important to get your orders in early as availability may be more limited!

We are Vermont Natural Beef, the home of the best naturally raised beef in the Champlain Valley. Why am I congratulating you for finding this site? Let me ask you an important question. Do you ever wonder where the food you eat comes from, and how it was handled before it made its way to your table?

Wonder no more. My name is Bob Stannard and along with my wife Pati and our four children, Abigale, Luke, Sam and Mac we run Vermont Natural Beef in beautiful Benson Vermont where we produce New England's finest quality all natural beef, and we want you to try some. You may be asking yourself "Why would I want to try some?" Following are just a few reasons:

Our beef is "guilt free"

Our animals are NEVER crowded into feedlots, and they NEVER receive unnatural, high grain diets. Our animals spend their days grazing lush, green pastures as cattle were meant to do. Period.

Our beef tastes good

There is no comparison between farm fresh meat and that which you buy at the supermarket. Everything about it is different.

Our beef is very safe

Why? Well, we raised it from when it was young. Also, as per state and federal law, our beef is processed at a local USDA inspected facility.

Our beef saves you money

We sell our beef by the side which means you get steaks, roasts, ribs and meat for less than you would pay for lean hamburger meat at most stores. Now that is a good deal! Think about it, which would you rather buy? Poor quality, high priced meat from a supermarket or high quality, locally raised and inexpensive natural meat from us? We think it is important for consumers to be educated about their food and exactly what they are eating.
